Shane Gadsdon

Shane joined the family business in 2012 and is now a Director and award-winning financial adviser at Discovery Financial Services. He specialises in personal and business insurance and KiwiSaver, helping individuals, families and business owners across New Zealand protect what matters most.
Shane's work has been recognised with a number of industry awards, including Young Gun of the Year in 2019, Independent Broker of the Year at the 2021 Insurance Business NZ Awards, and Australasian Elite Insurance Broker in 2026. He has also twice received Fidelity Life's Gordon Watson Award, named after the company's founder, which recognises advisers who champion customer-focused values.
For Shane, good advice starts with getting to know you. He takes the time to understand your situation, so the right cover is in place well before you need it. And if the time comes to make a claim, he'll be right there beside you.
